Srinagar, Jan 2: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari today said that peace is imperative for the brighter future of Jammu and Kashmir.

He stated that the removal of one of the oldest security bunkers in Srinagar city is a welcome step, reflecting an improvement in the security situation.

“Peace is essential for a brighter future for the youth and future generations of J&K,” Bukhari said.

Apni Party President wrote on his X handle, “Glad to know that one of the oldest security bunkers, which stood for over 30 years in the Safakadal area of Srinagar city, has been removed. This clearly indicates an improvement in Srinagar’s security situation. Local residents have welcomed the decision.”

He further said, “Small steps like these give hope that J&K is gradually moving toward a peaceful and stable environment, which is essential for a brighter future for our youth and future generations.”
