PDP welcomes new members from Habba Kadal constituency

Srinagar,  Aug 24: Five leaders from the Haba Kadal constituency joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today, further bolstering the party's presence in the region, a press release said.

The function was organised by zone president Sameer- ul-Jameel. Tufail Bhat, Mohammad Shafi Gojri, Ghulam  Nabi Rather, Abdul  Ahad Rather, and Umer Mukhtar Najar were warmly welcomed into the party by General Secretary G N Lone Hanjura, Khurshid Alam (senior leader), Arif Laigroo (State Secretary), Qayoom Bhat (District President Srinagar ) and  Dr Ali Mohammad.

The joining ceremony took place in the presence of these senior leaders, who expressed their delight at the new entrants' decision to join the PDP. Later, the new members met with the Party President Mehbooba Mufti, who extended a warm welcome and appreciated their decision to join the party.

This development marks a significant milestone for the PDP in the Habba Kadal constituency and is seen as a major boost to the party's efforts to strengthen its grassroots presence. The party looks forward to the active participation and valuable contributions of these new members.
