PDP President visits residence of late broadcaster Abdul Ahad Farhad, offers condolences

Srinagar, Dec 23: Former Chief Minister and President of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday visited the residence of noted broadcaster and acclaimed author, Late Abdul Ahad Farhad, to offer her condolences to the bereaved family.

As per a statement, the PDP President was accompanied by the Party’s General Secretary Mohammad Khursheed Alam, Spokesperson Syed Tajamul, former State Secretaries Hameed Kohsheen, Arif Laigroo, Ex MLA Noor Mohammad Sheikh, District President Qayoom Bhat, Media Coordinator Bashir Beigh, District Coordinator and others.

Mehbooba Mufti expressed grief over the passing away of Late Abdul Ahad Farhad and described him as a towering media and literary personality whose voice, writings and intellectual contributions left a lasting imprint on society.
