He said  the PDP is bearing the brunt for standing against the BJP and it is the only political party that has been under the attack.  "Our workers are consistently being  harassed", he said.

Criticising National Conference ( NC), Parra said that the party  broke the Peoples Alliance for Gupkar Declaration( PAGD) to put up a fight against the PDP by unilaterally announcing its candidate. "This time around it was not the question of PDP and NC. It was the question of unity", Parra said.

He said that Mehbooba tried to forge a unity among the political leaders but the National Conference right from the begining distanced it self from such moves. " We gave them ( NC)  more seats during DDC elections and compromised on each issue", he said.

Parra said that the NC shifted the goal posts by fielding their candidates against PDP only to help BJP. Referring to the newly formed political parties, he said that these political parties formed after the August 5, 2019 were facilitated by the government by providing them security and secured accommodations.
