PDP leaders visit Kani Mazar, Kalamdanpora Habba Kadal for condolences

Srinagar, Oct 28: The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders visited Kani Mazar and Kalamdanpora Habba Kadal to offer condolences to the bereaved families.

The delegation was led by PDP former State Secretary and Constituency Incharge Habba Kadal Arif Laigroo and  District Coordinator Srinagar Dr. Ali Mohammad, and included Zonal President Tufail Bhat, Ward Presidents Javeed Raina, Shakeel Ahmad, Asif Regoo, Mohd Sultan, Saabit Nauman, Bilal Naiku, Farooq Ahmad, and other local functionaries.

The leaders visited the residence of Late Mohammad Shafi Dar, who recently lost his life in a tragic road accident. Expressing deep grief over the incident, Arif Laigroo appealed to the administration to install speed breakers on the busy roads of Habba Kadal to prevent such tragic accidents in the future. He also urged the SSP Traffic Srinagar to take strict action against those bike riders who drive recklessly without a valid licence. Laigroo further appealed to parents not to allow underage boys to ride bikes, stressing that such preventive steps can help save precious lives.

Meanwhile, the PDP leaders also visited Kalamdanpora, Habba Kadal, to condole the demise of Late Ghulam Nabi Sofi, who passed away due to cardiac arrest.
