PDP holds meeting in Budgam

Srinagar, Apr 6: PDP held a constituency-level meeting in Budgam today.

According to a press release, the meeting was organised under the direction of PDP General Secretary Mohammad Khurshid Alam and was chaired by senior party leader and Chairman of the Election Board, Ghulam Nabi Hanjoora. The gathering witnessed the participation of several party leaders and office-bearers, including Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi, Arif Laigaroo and Mohammad Yaseen Bhat.

The agenda of the meeting centered on strengthening the party’s organisational structure at the constituency level, enhancing public outreach, and amplifying the voice of the people on pressing socio-economic issues. Special emphasis was placed on addressing the growing menace of drug abuse in the region and calling for a comprehensive ban on alcohol to safeguard the future of Kashmiri youth. In his keynote address, PDP General Secretary Mohammad Khurshid Alam urged party workers to deepen their engagement with the masses and reaffirm the PDP’s role as both a political and moral force in Jammu and Kashmir.
