PDP hasn't extended support, says Omar Abdullah
Srinagar, Oct 07: The National Conference (NC) vice president and former chief minister of erstwhile state of Jammu & Kashmir Omar Abdullah on Monday commented over the support offer extended by some PDP leaders to the NC-Congress alliance to keep BJP away from J&K, saying “I wish we could put a lid on all this premature speculations for the next 24 hours”.
“They haven’t extended support, they haven’t offered support and we don’t know what the voters have decided yet, so I really wish we could put a lid on all this premature speculation for the next 24 hours,” Omar Abdullah replied to the remarks made by his father Dr Farooq Abdullah who expressed his opinion over the support offer made by PDP leaders.
JKNC president Dr Farooq Abdullah had earlier said that “Even if we don't need it, we will take the support (from PDP) because if we have to go ahead, we have to do it together. We all have to make an effort to save this state. This state is in a lot of difficulties".
