PDP accuses government of apathy
Srinagar, Sep 7: The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held a meeting at Chattabal, organised by Hajra Ji, which witnessed large participation of women.
The meeting was attended by Zone President Habba Kadal Tufail Bhat, senior leader Bashir Ahmed and others, said a press release.
Speaking on the occasion, PDP leader Arif Laigaroo said, “The Chattabal area has been completely ignored by the government. People here are suffering due to lack of basic amenities, and the sitting MLA Shamima Firdous has failed to live up to the expectations of the people.”
Former MLA Noor Mohammad Sheikh in his address stated, “PDP has always stood with the people at the grassroots level. We will continue to highlight their issues and ensure that their voices are heard.”
