PDD orders placement of incharge EEs as incharge SEs

Srinagar, Dec 17: The Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Department (PDD) Tuesday ordered the placement and in-charge executive engineers as in-charge Superintending Engineers.

As per the order issued, the promotion and posting have been ordered pending clearance of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) and other competent authorities.

“Sanction is hereby accorded to the placement of the in-charge executive engineers as in-charge Superintending Engineers in their own pay and grade with admissible charge allowance, if any, as per the rules, with immediate effect,” the order reads.

The officers who have been promoted include Arshad Hussain  Reshi, Sunil  Dutt Pandoh, Ashok Kumar Chibber, Neeraj Amla, and Muhammad Ayub Khawaja.

As per the order, the promotion and placement of these officers have been ordered on the condition that these placements are temporary on a stop-gap basis and subject to the outcome of writ petitions, if any, pending before any competent court of law.

“These placements shall not create any right, interest or equity in favour of the engineers as and when considered for promotion on a substantive basis through the DPC and PSC,” the order reads.

It reads that in case of any adverse CID or Vigilance report or report of any FIR being brought to the notice of the department at any point of time, the placement of the engineers as Superintending Engineers shall be deemed to have been cancelled, ab initio, without any further notice.

Meanwhile, following the promotion, Arshad Hussain  Reshi has been posted as SE O&M circle KPDCL Ganderbal while Sunil Dutt Pandoh has been posted as SE O&M Circle JPDCL Batote with additional charge of O&M circle Doda and Kishtwar.

Ashok Kumar Chibber has been posted as SE Projects II Jammu, JPDCL with an additional charge of EE Ed-II Jammu and Neeraj Amla has been posted as SE O&M, JKPTCL Circle-I Jammu with an additional charge of TLMD Gladini Jammu.

Muhammad Ayub Khawaja has been posted as SE O&M Circle Rajouri.
