PDD employee dies due to electrocution in Sopore

Sopore, May 28: An employee of Power Development died due to electrocution in Sopore town of north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Tuesday afternoon.

Reports said that PDD employee Farooq Ahmad Magloo of Boniyar Uri Baramulla received a strong electric shock while performing his duty at Jamia Qadeem area of Sopore.

Soon after he was immediately taken to sub-district hospital Sopore where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival. Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of this incident.
