PDD daily wager, his son killed, wife injured after their car rolls down gorge in J-K's Rajouri

Srinagar, June 30: A man and his son was killed while his wife was injured after their vehicle rolled down 150-ft into a gorge in J&K's Rajouri district on Sunday.

Quoting an official, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that a car bearing registration number JK 11A 3869 on its way from Koteranka towards Shahpur and when arrived at Larkuti  it turned turtle into a deep gorge about 150 feet.

The deceased was identified as Shakeel Ahmed son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Mohra B Krage a daily wager employee of PDD and his son Mukhtar Ahmed. They died on spot, said the official.

He said that his wife namely Shamim Akhter was injured seriously and is being treated at GMC Rajouri.

The dead bodies of the deceased are lying at Koteranka for legal formalities, he said.

Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation, he said.
