Srinagar, Jan 7: Gujarat Health Minister Rushikesh Patel inaugurated the National Healthcare Skills Conclave & Emergency Medicine Gujarat 2025 at Parul University today, bringing together over 2,000 participants and 25+ national experts under the theme "One Nation, One Response: Pre-hospital care and life-saving skills."

The minister launched the state-of-the-art Pragya Ambulance Simulation Unit, designed to strengthen pre-hospital care training. The facility, part of the university's Advanced Skill and Simulation Centre, will focus on emergency response training and managing critical situations.

"India is no longer just adopting technologies from the West," Patel said, highlighting the country's progress in healthcare innovation. He praised the university's role in training healthcare professionals and bridging gaps in medical service delivery. The conclave features specialized workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and competitions to advance healthcare training. The event showcases prominent healthcare startups and aims to foster collaboration between medical professionals, educational institutions, and government bodies.
