This is evident from several emergency cases that were treated and given a new lease of life at the multi-specialty hospital. In the first case of stroke management, a 47-year-old patient arrived at the Emergency Department exhibiting symptoms of a stroke, including slurred speech and limb weakness, facial deviation. Diagnosed with a right middle cerebral artery infarct, the patient was within the therapeutic window for thrombolysis. Following prompt treatment, the patient’s condition improved significantly within 24 hours, highlighting the importance of immediate care during emergencies.

In the second case of polytrauma, a 70-year-old patient with a history of bypass surgery (CABG) was brought to the hospital after sustaining severe injuries from a wood-cutting accident. The patient experienced two episodes of ventricular tachycardia (VT), after stabilising the patient through defibrillation during transport to the Cath Lab, the interventional cardiology team performed a successful angioplasty to restore blood flow.
