The hospital's emergency department has been pivotal in saving lives, emphasising the importance of immediate medical intervention, particularly within the first hour after a heart attack, known as the "golden hour."

Recently, a 75-year-old male tourist, Radhey Shyam Gupta experienced a near-fatal incident while boarding a Shikara on Dal Lake. The tourist fell into the lake and was pulseless for around 15 minutes before reaching the Emergency Room (ER) at Paras Health. The skilled medical team acted swiftly and effectively resuscitated him and ultimately saved his life. In another incident, a 53-year-old female tourist, Bhartiben Manish Pandya, suffered a heart attack and collapsed in the washroom of her hotel room.
