Para Cricketer Amir Lone to attend Aryans Scholarship mela across 8 states

Srinagar, July 15: Aryans Group of Colleges will organise a series of career counseling sessions and scholarship melas from July 18 to August 2 across various cities in northern India. The events will offer on-the-spot admission opportunities.

Dr JK Saini, Director of Aryans Group, announced that these 15-day scholarship events will take place in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Bihar, Delhi, Punjab, Tricity, and Jharkhand.

Dr. Garima Thakur, Deputy Director, and Manpreet Mann, Dean of Scholarships, stated that selected students could receive scholarships ranging from 10% to 100% based on merit and means. Amir Hussain Lone, born in 1990 in Bijbehara, JK, lost both arms in a tragic accident but persevered in his passion for cricket. He has earned recognition from cricket legends like Sachin Tendulkar, who invited him to bowl the first ball of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL). Virat Kohli, Harbhajan Singh, Navjot Sidhu, Ashish Chopra, and Ajay Jadeja have also praised his dedication. Lone has developed a unique playing style, bowling with his legs and batting with his shoulder and neck.

Established in 2007, Aryans Group’s 20-acre campus is located on the Chandigarh-Patiala highway. The institution offers programs in Engineering, Law, Pharmacy, Management, Education, Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Paramedical sciences, serving the educational needs of youth across the nation.
