Panel constituted under RAS

Jammu, Nov 20: The J&K government Wednesday constituted a 4-member committee under the Jammu & Kashmir Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme (RAS)-2022.

“In pursuance of Clause 12(V) of Jammu & Kashmir Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme (RAS) 2022, notified vide S O of 397 dated 16.08.2024, sanction is hereby accorded to the constitution of the committee to assess and consider the applications for compassionate appointment and monetary compensation of General Administration Department and the cases referred to General Administration Department by the different departments under Jammu and Kashmir Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme-2022,” read an order issued by GAD.

Through a separate GAD order, a JKAS officer, Vikas Verma, Additional Secretary GAD has been appointed as nodal officer for monitoring the implementation of this scheme.

Divisional and district-level welfare officers under RAS too have been appointed.
