Palpora residents seek macadamisation of dilapidated road

Srinagar, Oct 23: Residents of Palpora area of Sonwar have demanded macadamisation of the dilapidated road in the locality.

A delegation of the area comprising Hilal Ahmad Bhat, Ghulam Rasool, Altaf Mir and Mehraj Din sought intervention of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to redress the issue.

“Palpora road has not been macadamised for the past eight years. This has caused significant problems for the local community, especially school children, who are suffering due to the dust and poor road conditions,” they added.
