Pakistan resident repatriated after inadvertently crossing to this side of border, say officials

Srinagar, Sept 23: A 35-year-old resident of Pakistan who had inadvertently crossed over to the other side of the border near J-K's Poonch yesterday has been repatriated to Pakistan today, reports said.

Quoting officials, news agency GNS reported that the LoC gate Chakan-Da-Bagh was opened as Indian army handed over the individual identified as Hassam Shahzad (34) son of Shazad Ahmed Khan, resident of Tetrinote, Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.

Hassam was apprehended by Indian army on the intervening night of September 21-22 after he inadvertently crossed the fence, officials said.
