Pahalgam killings draw strong reaction from world: Soz

Srinagar, Apr 26: Former Union Minister Prof Saifuddin Soz today said that it is a matter of relief that the dastardly killings at Pahalgam attracted condemnation from all over the world.

In a statement, he said, “The killings of innocent civilians at Pahalgam recently have drawn strong reaction from all over the world. Among others, what surprised me pleasantly was the condemnation of the tragic killings by the Afghanistan Taliban. The Taliban led Government in Afghanistan condemned the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam (Kashmir) stating that such incidents disrupt the efforts to maintain regional security and stability. The Taliban have also offered condolences to the families, who were victim of the Pahalgam terror attack.”

He hoped and prayed that the people of the entire world may turn a leaf for perfect peace, progress and harmony.
