Pace up dev works in Anantnag: Mian Altaf

Srinagar, Apr 8: Senior National Conference  (NC) leader Member of Parliament (MP) Mian Altaf Ahmad today urged the government to pace up the developmental works in Anantnag areas.

He also made  a plea to the government  to ensure that the grievances and day -to-day issues of the people are resolved on priority basis. The plea was made in a statement by the MP after his two day tour of various parts of Anantnag district. The visit was to gain insight into the issues faced by locals.

Mian Altaf Ahmad visited Shangus , Kokernag, Bijbehara and Anantnag. He met various people who apprised him about the issues and lack of pace of development in these areas.

As per the statement locals apprised him about the issues like lack of road infrastructure in many areas, non- availability of proper irrigation facilities, lack of potable drinking water in some areas and healthcare facilities.

“Upon hearing the grievances, MP Mian Altaf assured the people to bring their concerns and issues to forefront for swift resolution besides all possible assistance as a Member of Parliament ,” the statement said.
