Banihal, Sept 14: More than 500 apple laden trucks have been stranded for the past two days in Ramban district due to road blockages along the Srinagar–Jammu National Highway in Udhampur sector.

On Sunday afternoon, a team from Athrout Kashmir, a Srinagar-based social organization, reached Banihal and, in collaboration with the local volunteer group Banihal Volunteers, distributed ration and essential supplies among the stranded truck drivers stuck in the Sherbibi–Banihal highway sector.
