Outgoing Tehsildar Pahalgam accorded warm farewell

Anantnag, Feb 2: The Sub District Administration Pahalgam Friday organised a warm farewell party at Tehsil Office Pahalgam for the outgoing Tehsildar, Muhammad Hussain Mir upon his transfer.

A statement issued here said that SDM Pahalgam, Syed Naseer, other officers of subdivision Pahalgam, and other senior officers from the administration were present at the farewell event.

The senior officers also shared their valuable experience and thanked the Tehsildar Pahalgam for his incredible administrative acumen and leadership qualities.

He was lauded for leading from the front in all government schemes, projects, assignments, and works.

The tourism industry, annual Amarnath Yatra, and development work on NH-501, 50-bedded hospital, cable car project, all-weather connectivity to Aru, Jal Shakti schemes, Receiving Station Batakoot, playgrounds at all major habitations, tehsil library, and Kendriya Vidyalaya School have seen major boost during the tenure of the outgoing Tehsildar.

The major contribution of Mir is the digitisation of revenue records under the Digital India Land Modernisation Programme and efficient public service delivery through the Revenue Service Portal and Jansugam Portal.

He was applauded as a humble, down-to-earth, honest, and upright officer, who has a pro-people and analytic approach to addressing public issues.
