Oppositions’ noise on Art-370 aims to remain relevant: NC leader Ahsan Pardesi
Srinagar, Feb 27: National Conference (NC) senior leader and MLA Lal Chowk, Ahsan Pardesi today criticized opposition PDP for making unnecessary noise on Article 370, saying the hue and cry is aimed to make the party relevant after it faced huge brunt in recently held Assembly elections in Jammu & Kashmir.
“National Conference (NC) has not deviated from the issue of Article 370. The opposition has to remain relevant as they have suffered huge brunt in recently held Assembly elections in J&K. They have confined to three members only. I request to people to make us accountable after five-years. They (people) have given us the mandate for five-years to resolve issues,” NC leader Ahsan Pardesi told reporters in Srinagar.
While commenting on the upcoming budget session which is set to begin from March 3, the NC leader said that “I assure that the budget will be pro-people, and it will benefit them hugely in years to come”.
Responding to a query, the NC leader said that we have seen a very long dry spell in Jammu and Kashmir, but fortunately rains have started, and we are hopeful that the ongoing precipitation will end our concerns.
