Only DBs will hear allotment of chambers

Srinagar, June 22: The High Court of J&K and Ladakh has ordered that the cases pertaining to allotment of chambers to the lawyers of the High court would be henceforth heard by the Division Benches only.

“With a view to streamline the listing of cases and proper adjudication thereof, it is hereby ordered that henceforth the cases/petitions relating to 'Allotment of chambers to the Lawyers of the High Court of J&K and Ladakh' shall be taken up for hearing by the Hon'ble Division Benches only,” reads an order issued by Registrar General, Shahzad Azeem.
