One-way traffic continues on Srinagar-Leh NH

Ganderbal, Feb 15: One-way traffic continued to ply on the Srinagar-Leh National Highway on Thursday.

A total of 138 vehicles with 157 passengers crossed the Zojila axis towards Sonamarg side on Thursday, officials said.

Sub District Magistrate (SDM) Drass and Station House Officer (SHO) Drass monitored the movement of vehicles at various places like Gumri, Khanpatri, and India Gate.

As per the traffic plan, subject to fair weather and road clearance, only one-way traffic for passenger Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) with anti-skid chain would be allowed from Sonamarg towards Minamarg from 10 am to 1 pm from TCP Sonamarg and thereafter movement of no vehicles would be allowed.
