1 killed, 12 injured as vehicle plunges into gorge in Ramban

Ramban, Feb 24 : In an accident on Mehad - Neera-Kanthi link road in Ramban tehsil, one woman died while 12 persons sustained injuries on Monday.

Police sources said a TaTa Sumo bearing registration no JK19A-1331 on its way to Ramban from Chabba skidded off the road and fell into a gorge near Galli area of Upper Neera.

A woman died whereas 12 passengers including the driver sustained injuries.

Police said all the injured were rushed to District Hospital Ramban for treatment.

Police identified the deceased woman as Sankesha Devi, 33, wife of  Raghbeer Singh resident of Chabba, Ramban.
