Truck rams Into Car on NH-44 in Ramban: one Dead, four including truck driver and three School children injured
Ramban, Oct 10: One person was killed and four others injured in a road accident on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in the Seri area of Ramban district on Friday morning.
According to police sources, a truck (JK02CB-6795) laden with apples rammed into a Swift car (JK19A-1478) from the rear, resulting in five persons sustained injuries.
All the injured were immediately rushed to District Hospital Ramban, where one of them, identified as Advocate Baman Singh Bali (35) son of Ram Singh resident of Panchal, Ukhral Ukhral in District Ramban, was declared dead.
Police identified the four injured as Rahul (15) Raghuveer Singh resident of Digdol,driver of the truck Faizam (22) son of Wasim resident of Doda, Ramneek Singh (17) son of Man Singh resident of Digdol and Nishant Singh (15) son of Man Singh resident of Digdol.
The condition of the injured persons is currently being monitored by hospital authorities.
