On employee terminations, BJP leader says 'terror abettors' more dangerous than terrorists
Srinagar, Feb 15: Commenting on the dismissal of three employees terminated over alleged terror links by Lieutenant Governor-led administration, BJP senior leader and spokesperson Abhijeet Jasrotia said those aiding terrorism are more dangerous than terrorists, and added such elements need to be dealt with strictest laws.
Speaking to reporters in Srinagar, BJP leader Jasrotia said that strict action should be initiated against those involved or sympathizing terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
“The terrorists have killed lakhs of people in J&K, and who will provide justice for them?,” he said.
The BJP leader accused Pakistan for the decade-long turmoil in Jammu and Kashmir, and urged government and security agencies to intensify crackdown against individuals harbouring terrorism in J&K.
He said the government is doing efforts to ensure peace in the region. “The discussions with traders and other stakeholders are being held for peace, prosperity and development of the region. The fear of violence has decreased, allowing developments to take place. We want to restore and build peaceful Kashmir,” he highlighted.
