Omar led govt to fulfil its all promises: Dr Farooq Abdullah

Srinagar, May 5: National Conference (NC) President Dr Farooq Abdullah today said that the Omar Abdullah led government will fulfil all promises outlined in the party election manifesto.

He also urged party functionaries to work together effectively to highlight public issues. According to a press release, Dr Abdullah was addressing scores of public delegations and party leaders, who called on him at party headquarters here.

Dr Farooq stressed the critical importance of party office bearers focusing on public issues, as they serve as a vital link between the public and the party.

“It is imperative for MLAs and party functionaries to actively address and advocate for the concerns of the people they represent. By prioritising public issues, we can strengthen our connection with the community and work towards a brighter future for all,” he said. NC President added that in the face of significant challenges and hardships over the past decade, “it is our duty to be the voice of the people and tirelessly strive for their welfare.”
