Omar led govt striving to boost development: Dr Farooq Abdullah
Srinagar, Jun 20: National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah today said that the democratically elected government led by Omar Abdullah is working to overcome developmental setbacks and bridge the existing disconnect between the people and the administration.
According to a press release, he emphasised that the government is committed to inclusive progress and is prioritising infrastructure development, better delivery of public services, and effective communication with grassroots communities. Dr Abdullah made these comments while interacting with the party functionaries in Jammu.
He said that a people-centric approach is at the core of the NC’s vision, and the current administration is actively addressing issues that have long hindered equitable development across regions.
“Our goal is to ensure that no area feels neglected and that governance reaches every doorstep,” NC President stated. He also reiterated the NC’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and public welfare, calling for collective support in building a stronger, more connected Jammu and Kashmir.
