Srinagar, Oct 04: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has accepted defeat in J&K elections, while alleging that the party has asked the Chief Secretary to change transaction of business rules to curtail powers of elected government.

“The BJP has clearly accepted defeat in J&K. Why else would the Chief secretary be assigned the duty to change transaction of business rules of the government to curtail the powers of the Chief minister / elected government and assign the same to the LG?" Omar said on X.
