Omar Abdullah visits SKIMS to enquire into health of Mehbooba Mufti's ailing mother

Srinagar, July 03: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday visited SKIMS Soura to enquire the health condition of PDP president Mehbooba Mufti’s ailing mother.

Gulshan Ara, the mother of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in Srinagar after she developed serious health complications.

In a post on X, Office of Chief Minister, J&K said: “Chief Minister visited PDP President Mehbooba Mufti’s ailing mother at SKIMS, Soura today and enquired about her condition”.

Iltija Mufti, daughter of PDP president Mehbooba Mufti said that the health of her grandmother is stable and is under observation.

“Requesting media not to create unnecessary speculation & panic about my grandmother’s health. She’s stable & under observation,” she said on X.
