Omar Abdullah returns from ‘Umrah’

Srinagar, Feb 1: Former chief minister and National Conference (NC) vice president Omar Abdullah returned here today after performing the “ Umrah” in Saudi Arabia.

Omar and his father and NC President Dr Farooq Abdullah had gone for Umrah last month. Both of them returned to New Delhi. While Omar reached Srinagar, Dr Farooq stayed back in New Delhi to attend the Parliament session, reports said.

According to a press release, National Conference General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar today led party functionaries in according a rousing reception to Omar Abdullah on his return from Saudi Arabia after performing Holy Umrah pilgrimage.
