Old land mine destroyed in Poonch

Poonch, Feb 23: A rusted old anti personnel land mine found by army troops in an area close to the Line of Control (LoC).

It was destroyed through a controlled explosion carried out by Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) of army.

The anti personnel land mine was found by an army patrol team near Line of Control two days ago.

Officials said that the area was cordoned off and the anti personnel land mine was seized at the site of recovery.

On Friday, officials said, the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) of Army destroyed the land mine.
