Not supporting any party: Altaf Bukhari as he files his nomination papers
Srinagar, Sep 04: Apni Party chief, Syed Muhammad Altaf Bukhari Wednesday said that he is not supporting any other party, neither are they supporting his.
Bukhari said this while filing his nomination papers for the Chanapora Assembly constituency in the Returning Officer's office in Srinagar.
He was accompanied by scores of his party workers and supporters, who were seen raising slogans in favour of Bukhari.
When being asked about the former chief ministers including, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti, and Gh Nabi Azad not contesting the elections, Bukhari said that it is their own decision, and "may God bless them all," news agency NVI reported.
Bukhari will be up against National Conference candidate Mushtaq Ahmed Guroo and PDP’s Muhammad Iqbal Tramboo.
