Northern Command GOC reviews operational readiness in Siachen and Batalik sectors in Ladakh

Srinagar, Nov 27: The General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Northern Command, Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma on Thursday reviewed the operational preparedness of troops in Siachen and Batalik sectors in Ladakh.

These sectors face most adverse, challenging, extreme inclement weather and terrain conditions and are steadfastly guarded by the battle hardened troops of Indian Army.

During his interaction with the troops, the Army Commander appreciated their exemplary professionalism, high morale and resolute commitment to remain perpetually battle worthy. He inspired them to evolve into futuristic, multi-dimensional warriors harmonising cutting edge technology with human grit for maintaining operational supremacy.
