Northern Army Commander reviews security situation in south Kashmir
Srinagar, Apr 16: Lieutenant General M V Suchindra Kumar, the Army Commander of Northern Command, undertook a visit to the hinterland formations in south Kashmir. The purpose of the visit was to review the operational preparedness of the forces and assess the prevailing security situation in the region.

During his visit, Lt Gen Kumar, who was accompanied by GOC 15 Corps Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai and GOC Victor Force, Major Gen Balbir Singh commended the personnel for their unwavering vigilance and dedication to duty. The Army Commander’s visit comes at a time when Lok Sabha elections are about to start.
