Northern army Commander reviews CT grid in Kishtwar
Jammu, Dec 9: Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, Tuesday visited Kishtwar to review the Counter Terrorism (CT) grid and held a detailed interaction with J&K Police, CRPF, IB and Army formations deployed in the region.
He underlined that in a demanding security environment, countering emerging threats rests on the strength of unified structures, seamless intelligence sharing and synergised response across all agencies.
“He called for integrated planning, real-time flow of information and a resolute, joint posture to keep Jammu and Kashmir terror free,” Northern Command posted on ‘X’.
The Army Commander commended all stakeholders for their steadfast commitment, professionalism and unambiguous resolve in the service of the nation, the post added.
Meanwhile, Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and Border Security Force (BSF) Tuesday conducted joint search operations in forward areas along the International Border (IB) in Jammu, Samba and Kathua districts as part of enhanced vigil.
Searches were conducted in Gajansoo, Marh, Domana in Jammu district; Nadala, Regal, Galar and a few other areas in Samba and Khanpur and Pansar in Kathua district.
