Northern Army Cdr, GoC 15 Corps visit RR battalions in south, north Kashmir
Srinagar, Oct 4: Lt Gen M V Suchindra Kumar, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Command, accompanied by the Chinar Corps Commander, Lt Gen Ghai and GOC 15 Cops designate, Lt Gen Prashant Srivastava paid a visit to the Rashtriya Rifles Battalions stationed in south and north Kashmir.
The visit comes in the wake of the recent successful anti-insurgency operations in Baramulla and Kulgam.
During his interaction with the troops, Lt. Gen. Kumar complimented the soldiers for their meticulous planning and flawless execution of recent operations. He expressed pride in their dedication and professionalism, recognising the challenging conditions they operate under.
The Army Commander emphasised the need for continued vigilance and preparedness. "It is imperative to maintain a high degree of vigilance at all times," he said, addressing the ranks.
The Rashtriya Rifles, which have been at the forefront of counter-insurgency operations in Kashmir, were lauded for their enduring commitment to ensuring a stable environment for the civilian population.
