The introduction of indigenous IVL technology in the Valley is a significant achievement for interventional cardiology. The technology uses sonic pressure waves to break hardened calcium deposits in coronary arteries, enabling better stent placement and improved patient outcomes.

Noora Hospital’s Department of Cardiology has already been performing complex interventional procedures such as Rotablation (Rota), Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) and Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR), establishing it as a frontrunner in advanced heart care.
