Police added that date and time of the next PGRP will be communicated to the general public separately.
Taking to micro-blogging site X, J&K Police said “This is to inform that the “Public Grievances Redressal Programme” of DGP J&K will not be held this Saturday i.e. 24th February 2024”.
The post added that, “Place and venue, date and time of the next grievance redressal programme will be communicated to the general public separately”.
Notably Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir RR Swain had started weekly public meetings both in Jammu and Kashmir regions to listen people’s grievances pertaining to police department exclusively. Several meetings have held so far at different districts of Jammu and Kashmir where decades-long grievances of many applicants were resolved on spot.
