Another JKNC leader and a former Member of Parliament, Justice Hasnain Masoodi said that the party "will reciprocate the trust that people have put in us."

Asked about party's stand on the revoked status, Masoodi said that restoring of Article-370 is the first promise in their manifesto and that there "was no question on changing the stance on it."

Party's winner from north Kashmir's Gurez, Nazir Gurezi said, it is a responsibility of the party to serve people, for they have given a huge mandate to it, news agency NVI reported.

Yesterday, party's vice president and the Chief Ministerial candidate Omar Abdullah said, it was foolish to expect restoration of Article-370 from the party that took it away. He was referring to the BJP government at the centre. Omar's statement drew flak on social media by Kashmiri users.
