Nizamuddin to contest from Bandipora on Congress ticket

Jammu, Sep 11: Congress has fielded former Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand from Chhamb assembly segment in Jammu and Nizamuddin Bhat from Bandipora assembly constituency in Kashmir province.

Their names figured in a fresh list of five candidates released by the Central Election Committee of All India Congress Committee (AICC), late this evening.

As per the list issued by AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal, the party has given Mir Iqbal a mandate from Baramulla, Bushan Dogra from Suchetgarh (SC) and Ashok Bhagat from Akhnoor (SC).
