Nizamuddin Bhat files nomination papers

Bandipora, Sep 12: Former legislator Nizamuddin Bhat on Thursday filed his nomination papers for Bandipora seat.

Nizamuddin Bhat is contesting the election as an alliance candidate of the National Conference and Congress, as the constituency has been allotted to Congress in the seat sharing pact.

After addressing a workers at his official residence, Bhat reached mini secretariat Bandipora to file his nomination papers for Bandipora seat that will vote in the third phase of J&K polls on October 1.

Bhat on Wednesday joined the Congress after hectic deliberations with the alliance partners.
