Nissan launches all-new GRAVITE at introductory price of Rs 5.65 lakh
Srinagar, Feb 18: Nissan Motor India announced the launch of the All-New Nissan GRAVITE at an introductory price of ₹5.65 lakh, marking a significant step in the company’s renewed product push in the Indian market.
A statement issued here said that positioned as a bold 7-seater MPV, the GRAVITE has been developed under the theme “Inspired by India, Made in India, Made for India.” It is the first model to roll out as part of Nissan’s fresh product offensive, reinforcing its long-term commitment to India.
The company said the name “GRAVITE” reflects the scale and diversity of India, drawing inspiration from its vast cultural landscape. Designed to meet the evolving aspirations of Indian families, the MPV combines space, versatility and everyday practicality with a commanding road presence.
Thierry Sabbagh, Divisional Vice President and President – Middle East, KSA, CIS and India, Nissan and Infiniti, said India remains central to Nissan’s global ambitions. He noted that strengthened operations, network expansion and a future-ready product roadmap signal a sustained growth phase for the brand. The vehicle will be manufactured at the alliance partner facility in Chennai.
Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said the GRAVITE reflects how Indian families live and travel, adding that it represents Nissan’s continued investment in vehicles aligned with India’s mobility aspirations.
The GRAVITE features elevated proportions, muscular body lines, high ground clearance and Nissan’s signature C-shaped design elements, giving it a distinctive and contemporary identity.
