Nishat incident heart rendering: Soz

Srinagar, May 6: Former Union Minister, Saifuddin Soz, today said that  it is heart-rending for the society that an innocent woman was subjected to most brutal attack yesterday that led to her death at Nishat.

“Words fail me to express my anguish over the most brutal killing of a nomad woman who was mercilessly killed at Nishat (Srinagar), the other day,” Soz said in a statement. He added that this nasty event has once again brought a bad name to Kashmir society.

“The J&K Police has rendered exemplary duty to the society and apprehended all the four accused. The society further expects from the J&K Police that it will pilot its case with the Judiciary meticulously so that all the four accused receive due punishment for this crime,” Soz said.
