NIA seizes properties of active terrorists in Pulwama
Srinagar, Nov 14: National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday attached several properties of two terrorists in Pulwama district of south Kashmir under an anti-terror law.
An official said eight properties of active terrorists in Pulwama district were attached by NIA. "On the orders of the Special NIA court, properties of two terrorists are being attached today in the Kakapora tehsil of the district," official said.
One of the terrorists have been identified as Mohd Shafi Wani son of Ghulam Mohiudin Wani, a resident of Singoo Narbal, Pulwama, whose 5 properties have been attached and other one is Mohd Tikka Khan son of Abdul Ahad Khan resident of Singoo Narbal, Pulwama, the official said, adding that Khan's three properties have been seized.
These two terrorists are wanted in case RC-05/2018/NIA/DLI in a terror related offence.
Reports said the immovable properties were attached under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) on the orders of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) special court in Jammu.
