NIA attaches properties in Handwara in narco-terror funding case
Handwara, Feb 24: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday attached properties of four accused persons in a narco-terror funding case in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officials said.
Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the properties were attached in connection with an investigation of a case RC-03/2020/NIA/JMU related to the narco-terrorism.
The accused whose properties were attached include Muneer Ahmed Banday S/O Ghulam Rasool Banday, Afaq Ahmed Wani S/O Ghulam Rasool Wani, Abdul Moomin Peer S/O late Mohammed Asraf Peer and Saleem Andrabi S/O Syed Iftikhar Geelani of Laribal Rajiwar.
Officials said that the properties were identified under proceeds of terrorism and were attached with the prior permission from designated authority.
