New SSPs take over charge in Poonch, Ramban

Jammu, Feb 5: Yougal Manhas took over as the new SSP Poonch, while Anuj Kumar as SSP Ramban.

Yougal Manhas was welcomed by district police office staff. He was earlier serving as SSP in North Kashmirs' Kupwara district and was transferred from there recently.

After taking over his charge in Poonch, he interacted with staff of office. Manhas took review of functioning of district police headquarters and underlined process for first priority towards grievances by applicants.

Anuj Kumar has been recently transferred to Ramban from Crime Branch Jammu. He took over as SSP Ramban in presence of senior police officers.

The outgoing SSP Mohita Sharma, briefed the incumbent officer regarding the various challenges regarding the maintenance of law and order. After assuming charge SSP Anuj Kumar convened an introductory meeting with officials at the District Police Headquarters.
