New roster for ‘Public Darbar’ of Admin Secretaries issued

Jammu, Dec 23: J&K government Saturday issued fresh roster for ‘Public Darbars’ by Administrative Secretaries in different districts across the Union Territory.

As per the roster, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Home Raj Kumar Goyal will conduct a Public Darbar on December 29, 2023 in Jammu district while Principal Secretary Department of Forest,
Ecology & Environment Dheeraj Gupta will hold a similar Public Darbar in Srinagar district on December 28.

Principal Secretary Housing & Urban Development department Prashant Goyal will hold Public Darbar in Reasi on December 29; Principal Secretary Public Works (R&B) Department Shailendra Kumar will conduct Public Darbar in Samba district on December 26 and Principal Secretary Finance department Santosh Dattatreya Vaidya will hold the same in Kishtwar on December 28.

Commissioner Secretary General Administration Department Sanjeev Verma; Commissioner Secretary Science & Technology Department Saurabh Bhagat; Commissioner Secretary Cooperatives department Yasha Mudgal; Secretary Transport department Prasanna Ramaswamy G and Secretary Health & Medical Education department Bhupinder Kumar will conduct Public Darbar in Doda, Kulgam, Anantnag, Kupwara, Rajouri districts respectively on December 27, 2023.

Commissioner Secretary Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Mandeep Kour; Commissioner Secretary Industries & Commerce department Vikramjit Singh; Secretary Hospitality & Protocol department Talat Parvez Rohella and Secretary Tourism department Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah will hold Public Darbar in Budgam, Udhampur, Bandipora, Baramulla districts respectively on December 28, 2023.

Commissioner Secretary Information Technology department Prerna Puri; Secretary Mining department Rashmi Singh and Secretary Labour & Employment department Rehana Batul will conduct Public Darbar in Kathua, Poonch, Pulwama districts respectively on December 29, 2023.

Commissioner Secretary Social Welfare department Sheetal Nanda; Secretary Youth Services & Sports department Sarmad Hafeez and Secretary Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and
Reconstruction Nazim Zai Khan will hold Public Darbar in Ramban, Shopian and Ganderbal districts respectively on December 26.

As per GAD order, the Deputy Commissioners will be responsible for organizing these Darbars and will ensure their wide publicity in districts, well in advance.
